FRANKFURT (AFP) - Rising wages in China are forcing Adidas to transfer some production to other countries, the German athletic footwear and CEO of the sportswear company in an interview.
"Wages, which are set by the government became too high" in China, Herbert Hainer told the business weekly Wirtschaftswoche.
Chinese production of Adidas sportswear, about half of the total group, "decrease" Hainer said.
