Black Crocs
Of course over the last few years or so you have been seeing an influx of Crocs appearing in everyday life. If you walk down any street in New York City I'm sure about 1 out of every 10 people are wearing a pair of Crocs. But Crocs have been getting a bad rap in the main stream media and I feel like it needs to be addressed.
ABC news did a report about kids Croc shoes getting stuck in escalators at the mall and other areas. Now let's take a look at this scare tactic. Why would someone do a report about this? To me it seems like it must have been a slow news day.
I can probably think of about a million other things that people wear that can get stuck any wear and cause physical damage or even death. So why just pick Crocs? I think there is a hidden agenda here to completely destroy Crocs. People who love them, just love them. But the people who hate Crocs take their hatred to the main stream media and try to take the entire company down.
For one, another popular summer shoe is the flip flop. The flip flop leaves your tootsies exposed to all sorts of things. Imagine getting a flip flop stuck in an escalator. I bet it's far worse than a fully protective pair of Crocs.
And what about dresses? Are we going to run a report about how dangerous dresses can be. "You may think your trying to look sophisticated and elegant tonight, but did you know that you may be just minutes away from death, more on this story at eleven."
I think I've made my point. It's ridiculous!
