If you are looking for a Beach Honeymoon Vacation in a beachfront hotel on Ambergris Caye in Belize, then it is worth your while taking the time to study Victoria House.
Victoria House describes itself as the essence of casual elegance, and because of the small size of the resort, there are only 42 accommodation units, so it could well describe itself as a top class boutique hotel as well.
It was recently rated amongst the world's top 500 best Hotels by Travel and Leisure, and amongst the best places in the world to stay by Conde Naste, who also voted Victoria House in the top ten hotels in Central and South America.
These are strong recommendations and Victoria House doesn't disappoint especially for a beach Honeymoon Vacation, which makes the often heard description of barefoot luxury very apt.
With 9 Deluxe Plantation Rooms, 2 Luxury Plantation Suites, 1 Honeymoon Suite, 10 Thatched Roof Casitas, and 2 Luxury Villas, there will be rooms or suites to suit your taste and your pocket. They are all air conditioned and have great views of either the beach, the lovely tropical gardens which are full of hibiscus and bougainvillea.
All in all Victoria House is a little piece of paradise, a place to escape from the realities of life, which is a first good reason for choosing this lovely boutique hotel for your perfect beach honeymoon vacation destination.
The second good reason is the hotel staff at Victoria House who are very attentive and will respond very positively to whatever request you make. There is also great attention to detail throughout the hotel.
Another is the hotel grounds themselves, apart from the profusion of colour from the tropical plants and flowers, there are two beautiful swimming pools, one of which is an infinity pool. The grounds and the beautiful white sand beach are both kept immaculately well, and the beach, which many feel is the best on Ambergris Caye, is raked every morning. The views of the turquoise/blue/green sea are such that you could lie in a hammock and look at it for hours on end. There are more than enough sun beds around the pool, and lovely fluffy towels in plentiful supply
A very definite reason is the quality of the food in the restaurant. It has the reputation of being one of the best on Ambergris Caye with some justification, and there is a lot of sense in taking one of the meal deals. All meals are excellent, but the menus at dinner are especially unique and almost out of this world. Guests frequently describe the food as amazing.
The rooms and suites are another compelling reason to stay at the Victoria House. The rooms are large, comfortable, with terraces or decks, and you'll get fresh flowers in your room every day. A number of guests feel the Casitas are better than the Plantation Rooms, with a better view.
Victoria House could be the perfect b each honeymoon vacation for the reasons given above. Add to this it seems so quiet and peaceful even when this beachfront hotel is quite full. It is very exclusive, small and probably the best Ambergris Caye resort if you want to getaway from the crowds.
