It has been much debate about the environmental safety of diesel compared to gasoline engines. In the past, the diesel engine is a major polluter and is considered very noisy and unreliable. This was a major weakness of this engine design.
Today, however, we see that this is no longer the case. While diesel is still more against a polluter of gasoline engines in some respects not as bad as before and actually earns the gasoline engine on some fronts. The diesel engine has been greatly improved in terms of their efficiency and reduced fuel consumption.
Due to lower fuel consumption per mile of diesel, we can see that the diesel engine emits less dioxide carbon from gasoline engines. It is essential that the carbon dioxide gas is an important contributor to global warming. However, it is considered in terms of Particulate pollution from diesel engines are the worst offenders compared to gasoline engines. They are also producers in the formation of pollutants smog.
These particles are much like classes soot particles, which is divided into three broad categories. This makes the issue of pollution from diesel and seriously.
This means that there more severe and tightening emission standards for diesel engines and also to join the need for high-tech diesel engines using low sulfur fuel. The advantages of this fuel is in May, however, no sense in fuel production generate more pollutants.
