Holland Days
I stay in Holland for 5 days. How many Euro should I bring?
Im from Singapore and I need to know how I need to if I need to stay in Holland for about 5 days. I need that the average expenditure. I'll just go there for sight seeing and shopping probably slightly chocolates and other goods.
Hi ... It's a good idea to provide your bank or credit card so you can get the money you need, as opposed to implementation, which brings the total amount of cash you'll want to spend for your whole trip and carrying it around you (as it can be dangerous). On the other hand, depending on your bank (and really just in general, if you come from a country that uses the currency different from that of the country you visit), visits to an ATM may include many additional costs you do not want to pay to exchange currency and using an ATM, this is not your home banking. I would have your cards with you, and make "some" of euro cash to start. Otherwise, the amount you spend in Holland will depend on which hotel you stay in, what city you stay in what you choose to do and purchase. Large cities, like Amsterdam, Rotterdam, and others, will generally cost more price of hotel, food, souvenirs, etc. and small cities. But even here there are many price ranges, which depend on how the luxury (or not), you want to be your accommodation in a city where you want to stay (there is always more expensive when you want to stay at or near the center a city), etc. For example, staying in 3-4 star hotel in the city center of Amsterdam can cost between $ 100 and even 400 euros per night. But you can also find smaller hotels in smaller cities like something more between 50 and 100 euros per night. Check www.hotels.com for hotel rates. Memories still tend to be more expensive than they need, so always a bit overstated. Chocolates, souvenirs of wooden shoes, bulbs tulips and others can begin to accumulate, especially when you want to take home with several friends and family. eating can really vary as well ... you can stop in a cafe in most places in Holland and get a sandwich for about 3 or 4 euros, a café for about 2-3 euros, things like that. Or you can go in some of the nicer restaurants in major cities, and spend 75-100 euros for dinner for two. It depends ... It Voyage Voyage and may be expensive so I would not carry too much cash to start, ask your card with you, and expect to spend more than you think.
