Jane Sneakers
Troops were popular as urban / hip-hop sneakers in the 80s and 90s. The sneakers have been approved by such artists as LL Cool J, MC Hammer, Ultramagnetic MCs, Stetsasonic, Public Enemy's Chuck D, Flava Flav and Ghostface Killah, Cool Kids, Mickey Factz and teriyaki boys. The sneakers are bright, bold and cheap made. They do not necessarily last as long as other sports footwear more mainstream, but you made a statement.
Sneakers troops were first was launched on the market in 1985, the company went bankrupt less than five years later. It is not entirely clear what was taken Troops such a dramatic fall. It is difficult for a sneaker company to small to compete with big names such as Nike and Reebok. There were rumors that troops closed its doors due to a scandal of embezzlement and mismanagement. One of the most vicious rumors that troops were involved in the Klu Klux Klan. We do not know where this rumor came from (although some claim it has been used maliciously to destroy society sneakers upstart), but it is clear that the rumor is categorically untrue. troops has absolutely no connection with the KKK.
Troop has been said to be an acronym for "rule on the oppressed peoples." People have argued that if you are looking for in the lining of sports footwear company, you will find hidden tags that identified the acronym, displaying Troop "true" colors. The accusation was that Mr. Troop Sneakers was actually owned by the Klu Klux Klan, and that the shoes were a KKK plan to make money off of African-Americans. The truth is that the troops were detained Sneakers by Teddy and Harvey Held (who is Jewish), and William Kim (who is Korean). None of these people had any connections or business arrangements with the Ku Klux Klan.
It is interesting to note that the troop sneakers is not the only shoe company that has had this kind of problem. Rumors circulated that BritishKnights (commonly referred to as BK) was actually a cover name for Blood Killers. Reebok has been accused of manufacturing of sports shoes in South Africa during apartheid, the truth is that Reebok has plants in South Africa but was closed in 1986 in protest against apartheid.
Sneakers troops were raised in October 2008 under the hands of new owners. A limited number of sneakers with conventional technology Update band were released on the market.
