Keen Boys

Lots of mothers are curious as to what the best boys hairstyles are when it comes to their teenage sons. Being a teenager, the need to feel cool and acknowledged by their friends is important. Not being satisfied with the old short usual hairstyle, they want a new style that looks awesome. But what styles are available though?

Girls have many options to choose from and they can either go with a pigtail or leave their hair down or wear curls or keep it straight, but boys don't have as many options.

Teen boys are not that keen on wearing the middle path hairstyle that looks like a book and mainly warn by IT nerds. This is also known as the geek look and not much liked. Besides, it looks terribly oily and fatty and unless accompanied by spectacles, it wont work.

What about the spiky hairdo? Ancient, right? This look may still be worn today with nothing faulty about it but teenage boys want something new. This style might be a bit dated.

The new hairstyle amongst boys is the Mohawk. The famous soccer player, David Beckham had brought this cool and easy to handle style to life.

What the Mohawk is, is a line of longer hair in the middle of the head and shorter hair on both sides of the head. This style is based on the 80's punk rock look.

The Mohawk has changed a bit with the hair being longer in front and more untidy looking.

The Michael Schofield prison break hairstyle is another very popular look. The prisoner look is most wanted at the moment. It is also tidy and matches any type of hair. Boys however, must remember that you need the perfect head to use this hairstyle as dents just won't fly.
