Is there something I can clean a leather sandal with the virus to kill plantar warts?

A friend of my daughter borrowed my favorite leather sandals and has a plantar wart. How do I treat the shoe to kill the virus?

Leather is porous, you should discard. If they were Rubber flip flops, they could be cleaned, the leather can not. It is usually skin to skin contact which allows it to transmit from person to person, but I would not take risks. Ditch the shoes.
