Rising Star
Riya Sen often regarded as a "sex symbol" is one of the most famous and rising star in the land of Bengal. It was in history that Sharmila Tagore, Suchitra Sen; Mausmi Chaterji etc made their entry into the Bollywood industry and gained fame and recognition and now its turn of contemporary Bollywood actress Riya Sen, who is the next rising star of Bengal in this Bollywood industry.
Riya comes from a family of celebrities, including her grandmother Suchitra Sen is one of the greatest Bengali actresses of Bengali films. His mother, Moon Moon Sen was also an actress and her father is a member of a royal family Tropura. Her paternal grandmother Ila Devi, was the princess of Cooch Behar, whose younger sister Gayatri Devi is the Maharani of Jaipur. Before moving to Mumbai, she lived with her parents and sister Raima Sen, also an actress, in Kolkata.
Before entering show business, she studied at Loreto House and Rani Birla College, both in Kolkata, but dropped two institutions. She also briefly studied at the National Institute of Fashion Technology. Since its debut in Bollywood, she went to Kolkata to Juhu in Mumbai.
Riya became a popular model when she appeared in numerous music videos for songs by popular singers, including Asha Bhosle, Falguni Pathak, Jagjit Singh and Sonu Nigam. It was one of Bollywood stars who appeared in Haath Se Haath Mila an anti-AIDS clip.
It is also an advertising model. A highlight her modeling career was when she replaced Lisa Ray as the Lakmé Girl, but she has since been replaced by Yana Gupta. His other missions notables include Colgate, Limca, Vatika, Cadbury Dairy Milk Chocolate, and Margarita King. She also appeared on the cover of several magazines. In 2004, she appeared partially naked in major Indian photographer Dabboo Ratnani [8] annual calendar, which is a major event in the Indian glamor industry. It is the only female face inclusion in the timetable on four consecutive years (2004-2007).
As for her acting career is concerned, Riya Sen first appeared as a child artist in the film Vishkanya, where she plays the role of the young Pooja Bedi. At age 15 she was cast in a Bharathiraaja major role in the Tamil film Tajmahal. His debut film in Bollywood was supposed to have been in Love You Hamesha, opposite Akshaye Khanna, but the film was stalled and she ultimately made her debut in N. Chandra 's low-budget comedy Style.
It is through style that she began to cross the ladder of success. Even her modeling career also nourished her image in Bollywood industry. This was not his family that made reaching the roof, but his personal talent that brought this Bengali women in the notch at the top of the list Actress Bollywood.
