Sandals Sneakers
There comes a time in a woman's life when she has to make a choice between shoes. None of us enjoy making these types of choices. If we had our way, we'd have it all. However, only so much can fit in our closet or suitcase. So when it comes down to choosing between bringing, or buying, a pair of wedge sandals or a pair of wedge sneakers, there are some factors to consider.
Most sneakers server only 2 functions in a woman's wardrobe; exercise and casual daily wear. They're popular for a number of reasons, not the least of which is they're pretty much the most comfortable shoe on the planet. They're also easy to wash and, most of the time, women feel comfortable if they get dirty. However, when it comes to wedge sneakers there are styles that are for exercise and styles for just looking chic. If choosing between a wedge sandal and sneaker, the only sneaker style that matters is the one with a fashionable, rather than functional, purpose. Fashionable wedge sneakers are great for the beach, shopping, jeans, shorts and other sporty activities. They are, however, limited to those occasions. Unlike the wedge sandal, the sneaker has only a few functions.
Wedge sandals, by comparison, are comfortable, fashionable and very functional. They can be used for the beach or worn with a cocktail dress for a dinner date. Another benefit that sandals have is that they're very sexy looking. Unfortunately, they're a poor choice for muddy, rocky or rough terrain. They're also not the best option for colder climates.
For vacations it's a good idea to stick with the sandals. As there isn't much room in the suitcase, bringing the most versatile shoe is the best option. The sandal can be worn shopping for souvenirs, hitting the beach or a night out on the town.
For a comfortable shoe that is wearable throughout the year and works with most casual outfits, the best choice is the wedge sneaker. The high heel wedge sneaker is a fun and comfortable way to look chic while shopping for groceries or taking a walk around the block.
Both the wedge sandal and sneaker have benefits and disadvantages. It's up to the each woman to decide which type of shoe works best for their situation; the casual wedge sneaker or wedge sandal. Both will work for daily wear; however, one will work for a night out on the town, but not for rougher terrain, and one will work for rougher terrain but not a night out on the town.
