Springs in soles vs. heels?

Has anyone tried both the below:
(1) running shoes with springs in heels
(2) running shoes with springs in soles

Wondering which gives most comfort?
I find that hiking or trail running shoes are too stiff for me - my feet are sensitive, so they hurt.
Are there brands with springs in heels/soles which are also flexible inside the shoe (not stiff?

I mean really comfortable, like Saucony Grid, Nikes, Asics Gel etc.

P.S. Also relevant is that I can't tolerate high arches in shoes, which is why Sanita, Keen & even Born hurt me. I'm a small womens size, narrow at ankles, protruding ankle bone, and wide toe bed.
Apollena's response was not relevant to my question. No, I don't use sneakers for practice, rather for extensive walking in town, because I don't own a car. I'm desperate for comfortable footwear for the type of feet described above. Leave it to my luck to never get the answers I need desperately.

Regarding the springs, if it is for practice it would lead to destabilizing your running style possibly causing injuries because your body would be running unnaturally. Inn competition it is illegal. For these reasons nobody makes them.
