White Velcro
Fishermen around the world are always looking for the fishing shirts ideal, they can customize their ship name or company, the name of favorite fish, etc.
There are many different factors to consider that when choosing the right shirt.
Fabric 1): For years cotton was the fabric of choice. I was one of the fishermen line which must have cotton until I finally broke down and tried a blend cotton / poly. 100% cotton gets wet and heavy sweat in hot climates, does not dry out leading to a wet, wet, uncomfortable shirt. The cotton / blend fabric Poly, lightly brushed wicks moisture and dries quickly create a constant comfort. I also found that the mixture works better in cooler climates, because it cuts the wind, the cold better. Seems odd that a fabric can breathe less, but remain cool because it cuts the wind and cold, but it does.
2) Style / Cut: so many different factors here. The body shape, type of fishing are just two factors, but is thinking in the right direction. A shirt which is generously cut is key. Too many fishing shirts are cut with what I call a glass company. It limits movement. We do not wear these to the prom or bend in. We want a shirt that can throw a fly, to launch a plug surface mount and bottom of the boat without any restriction of movement.
Taller or fishermen want a longer length shirt that is appropriate. So many people are cut short. This leads to the constant coming untucked shirt. The way the bottom of the shirt is cut the links in this as well. If the shirt is cut straight across bottom vents V cut on each side, the fisherman can wear out or Tuck it in.
Sleeve length is important. Find a shirt that has ample sleeve length.
Double roll collars useful as a sun-up or neck guard.
Ample pockets but not great bellowing pockets with negligence is also essential.
Last but not least the vent at the back must be large to accommodate 2 things, great return custom embroidery and maximum airflow. So many so-called fishing shirts have small holes that are not embroideries and not breathing well.
Avoid zippers and so that corrosion and add weight to the shirt.
All limits tissue / small UV. No crashes completely.
3) Personalization: From the earliest days of golf shirts with an alligator, polo players, embroidery / logo 's have always been on the chest left. You can tell a manufacturer of fishing shirt that does not think about where a custom logo embroidered will be when the left is not left unused. When you see a shirt fishing tab with Velcro (actually a piece of rod holder) on the left side it does not embroider well. When the logo is placed above the tab, it is too high and shirt and looks funny. Find a shirt with the rod tip holder / Velcro tab on the right side. A name people either. Captain John, the adjustment will well above the tab on the right but anything more is too high. Bust left with no tab is correct.
Find a Business Embroidery with fish that look anatomically correct is the misery of others. So many people in the business of embroidery want to fish on a shirt, but did no idea what the fish should look like or is the color. They know nothing about fish / fishing. Find a company that likes to fish is as much as you. Then it will be right. Verify that you can add text to your fish of choice without breaking the bank.
In conclusion, when searching for a beautiful custom fishing shirt embroidered with your boat or company name, pay attention to these 3 things listed above and you'll find yourself with a comfortable, beautiful clothing.
